Jen Sterka, of Crazy Daisy Dog Training LLC, has followed her life long love of animals to bring training services to the Lake Norman Area. She uses training techniques based in positive reinforcement to bring owners and dogs together through fun and understanding. 

Her love of animals spands years and species. Currently she owns two bearded dragons, Mystic and Illusion, two geckos, Aurora and Gi-Gi, three cats, Neitzsche, Lillie and Diesel, and her Akita/Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix, Daisy. 

Jen's experience includes animal hospitals, pet stores and shelters. She is an Animal Behavior College Graduate and ABC certified dog trainer. Her education included 6 mos of book work and a year of hands on experience under mentor Monique Williams, CPDT. Jen continuously works to keep her education as up to date as possible by attending seminars and conducting research. She also volunteers with Catering to Cats and Dogs, assisting with administrative duties, animal care, and fostering.

She is an AKC registered Canine Good Citizen Examiner and STAR Puppy Examiner. In addition, Jen is also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross.

Jen is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, APDT and adhears strictly to their code of ethics (view APDT's code of ethics). 

Her understanding of dogs together with effective training tools will help you and your dog strengthen you relationship and live happily together.

Currently Jen offers group classes in STAR Puppy Preschool and Basic Obedience through North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital. She also offers Advanced Obedience classes at The Meadows Bed and Biscuit. In addition, She offers in home private classes in obedience and behavior through Crazy Daisy Dog Training LLC.
